LOOKBOOK 2011

The Henley is cut from a
100% cotton, vintage jersey knit made in South Carolina. Drawing from our Western vintage
heritage, this shirt has a relaxed neck, left chest pocket, rounded waist, and
a 5 button front placket for varying degrees of moxie. Using the same dead stock vintage
buttons as the Chambray, this configuration is a limited run. The Henley is flat-lock and blind
stitched, available in 3 colors and makes for a comfortable standalone or
layering piece.. Handmade in the USA.

Our Pocket Tees, like the Henleys are cut from a 100% cotton, vintage jersey knit made right here in the United States. Double threaded 30 single weave gives this shirt a more substantial hand and a little structure so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a tissue. We’ve added a few unique vintage details: a bound collar, rounded waist, chest pocket, blind stitch construction, and taped the shoulders for comfort. This piece comes in 6 colors. Handmade in the USA.

For our chino pants we've used a 10oz duck canvas. The fabric is lightweight enough for everyday wear and the nature of duck twill gives it the perfect amount of structure. These can be dressed up for an occasion or worn around the shop. We designed our fit with comfort in mind so we allowed for additional room in the lower hip and came up with a clever shaped hook to avoid the biggest downfall in most chino pants: the uninvited wedgie. Our hook has the extra fabric needed to keep your pants from riding up when you're walking, bending or leaning, but they won’t sag when you're standing tall. We also narrowed the legs from the thigh down to the bottom openings to give the pants a fitted look and feel. We custom forged brass fisheye hardware for the button fly and like all of our pants, the inner seams are taped for your comfort. Torn between the traditional welt pocket or adding pocket flaps, we decided to do both. On the right you'll find a traditional single welt and on the left we’ve added a flap that’s shaped and sized so you can tuck it in if you like. Bottom line: these are comfortable pants fit for any occasion. Handmade in the USA.

The Western Denim Jacket is
arguably one of the most iconic garments of the American West, second only to
American denim jeans. Offered in
Dry Aged (our unique “wash” process whereby the fabric never touches water) and
Stonewashed 12.5 oz Japanese denim, we made a few alterations to this classic design. We’ve added hidden elastic flanges to
the shoulder construction, allowing for greater mobility while maintaining the
fitted look of a classic denim jacket. We also added two inches to the overall
length, making it slightly longer than its short-bodied predecessors. Inside, like the Barn Coat, the Western
Denim Jacket has a half lining of lightweight striped canvas and is finished
with chambray-taped seams. Outside,
this piece is fitted with branded copper funnel shanks and donut style rivets,
with a single welt chest pocket and two slash pockets for your hands. Handmade in the USA.

“Slim’s fit” is our take on
the proven slim fit jean. By
adding just enough extra space in the lower hip and thigh, we were able to keep
the fitted look and feel of the traditional slim fit while allowing for greater
mobility and comfort. Offered in a
wide variety of washes, tints, resins, rinses, colors and denims including raw
and selvedge; this piece is available in only the finest Italian and Japanese
denim ranging from11oz. to 13.5oz. weights varying by season. All of our denim comes standard with
branded trim, copper funnel shanks, a combination of 6 uniquely stamped donut
rivets (look closely at the coin pocket), bar tacked hemming guides on the left
cuff, a triple stitched yoke, striped canvas pocket liners, a chain stitched
waistband facing, and taped interior seams for comfort in the most precious
areas. Handmade in the USA.

Our Chambray Shirts are made
of 5oz. and 7oz. fabric offered in three washes: Grey, Rinsed Blue, and Raw
Blue Resin. We’ve designed these
shirts with a tailored fit and included a few vintage construction
details. Taking inspiration from
clothiers of the past we’ve adapted elements such as scooped side vents, an
extended collar band, hidden button-down collars, and added our own details
like the half-hidden-stitch chest pocket (look closely at the construction),
and a chain stitched accent inside of the front placket. One unique aspect of our Chambray Shirt
is the vintage dead stock buttons.
We found a single barrel of them in an old fabric warehouse, making this
shirt configuration a limited run.

The Barn Coat was inspired
by the extremely functional oversized coats used for decades by farmers,
craftsmen, and pioneers alike.
We’ve adopted a tailored fit (think pea coat), removing the unnecessary
bulk in the body and allowing for mobility with hidden elastic flanges in the
shoulders. With six front pockets the
Barn Coat is functional while maintaining a clean, streamlined look. Inside, the Barn Coat is fitted with a
lightweight striped canvas half lining and finished with chambray-taped seams. Outside
this piece is fitted with branded copper funnel shanks and donut style
rivets. The Barn Coat is offered
in Dry Aged (our unique “wash” process whereby the fabric never touches water)
and Vintage Washed 12.5 oz Japanese denim. Handmade in the USA.

Our “Work Rise” fit is a
crossover piece. By lengthening
both the front and rear rise, widening the low hip, and reducing the taper, we
effectively “dropped” the pant a few inches off the hip. Work pants have traditionally been wide
and open ended but we decided to adapt the comfort, flexibility, and all around
roominess of these designs into a fit that’s relevant and wearable. Offered in a wide range of washes,
tints, resins, rinses, colors and denims including raw and selvedge; this piece
is available in only the finest 12.5-13.5 oz. Japanese denim. All of our denim
comes standard with branded trim, copper funnel shanks, a combination of 6
uniquely stamped donut rivets (look closely at the coin pocket), bar tacked
hemming guides on the left cuff, a triple stitched yoke, striped canvas pocket
liners, a chain stitched waistband facing, and taped interior seams for comfort
in the most precious areas.

This is our take on the
classic crew neck sweatshirt. The fabric we had knit is really special; its a
3-end French terry, heavy slub-back fabric in a herringbone weave. It’s woven on vintage looms in South
Carolina, in a district that’s famous for producing authentic true-vintage knits. We’ve sewn the entire piece using
flat-lock stitching so it’s fully reversible and with each side you get a
completely different look and feel.
Here’s where the fabric shows its versatility: the face is a flat
textured, 50/50 cotton-poly blend, so it takes the dye in a unique heathered
pattern. The “back” slub side is
100 percent cotton and has a beautiful slubby texture, after a few washes the
herringbone weave begins to emerge and gives the sweatshirt an interesting hand
and a comfortable worn look. We’ve
added a few inches to the overall length to avoid boxiness and finished it off
with double Vs in the front and back collar just like they used to. Handmade in the USA.
